Undergraduate Admission Requirement

PPIIA classes are conducted in English so all prospective students must possess some English proficiency. The minimum requirements for admission to PPIIA are evidence of a high school record and English proficiency as noted below:

1. High School Record

For students graduating from a high school that requires them to take the Cambodian National Examination:

A provisional high school diploma
For students graduating from a high school outside of Cambodia.
A high school diploma certified by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

2. English Language Placement

All applicants who do not meet the English proficiency requirements listed above must take an English proficiency test administered by the PPIIA. Results of this test will determine whether the student goes into the English preparatory program or the collegiate program.

It is recommended that applicants take the PPIIA placement test. There is a non-refundable USD 5 fee for the English proficiency test, paid at the time of testing.

3. Conditional Admission for Students Not Able to Submit All Application Materials

Students who are unable to submit all materials at the time of application may receive conditional admission. Students who fail to submit missing materials within the first semester are required to meet with the Director of Academic affair for a determination for continuance at PPIIA or withdrawal from the institute.

4. Transfer Applicants

Transfer applicants must meet the same standards as entering first-year students. Transfer students must submit the same documentation as entering first-year students and must also submit additional material as below by the application deadline.

A. Transfer to Same major
Student will transfer into second year or third year depend on decision of faculties member meeting. Document Required:

-High School diploma
-Foundation Year Certificate
-Official Transcript

B. Transfer to different major
Student who has foundation year certificate can transfer in second year for different major (makeup major subjects will be required). Document Required:

-High School diploma
-Foundation Year Certificate

Graduate Admission Requirements

PPIIA is accepting local and international students who meet the minimum Master’s admission criteria. Students applying to PPIIA for a Master’s degree in Music and Design are required to submit all necessary documentation for admission and have acceptable scores and grades in their previous education. PPIIA is happy to provide education to students from different backgrounds and cultures. International students help to enhance the learning environment and collegiate experience.
The minimum requirements for admission to the PPIIA Master’s degree are as follows:

  • Completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA based on a 4.5 scale
  • Two years of working experience or currently working
  • Applicants may take the PPIIA English Placement Test
  • Documents:
  •  A birth Certificate (with English name), National ID card, or Passport
  • An earned bachelor’s degree diploma
  • English Placement Test and Audition:  Applicants will need to schedule the English Placement test and audition date; then, complete an interview with our faculty. Interviews take place after the Admissions Office has received your application and fee. We offer on-campus tests and interview
