School of Dance and Theatre
The Department of Dance & Theater’s mission is to prepare music and dance majors for careers in the field by completing the requirements for bachelor’s degrees in Ballet, Traditional dance, and Modern Dance. The Department provides supportive instruction to both majors and non-majors in music theory, music education, opera, dance, and art performance to cultivate the development of musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation.
